You’ve probably read about Google Co-op. Lijit uses it to provide a widget for your blog, making available a search box. What’s interesting in Lijit is that the search is not only limited to your blog, but also to several different spaces that you usually fill with your contents, bookmarks, tags and so on.
Spaces in which the searches will performed are: Blink List, delicious, digg, Flickr, Linkedin, Live Journal, Ma.gnolia, My Space, reddit, Stumple Upon, You Tube, and other blogs that you own. Lijit calls it Personal Network Search: you can read here the presentation by its founder Stan James.
Try the Personal Network Search box I’ve just added to my blog.

Thanks for the post. We are looking for feedback from users so any thoughts that you have about functionality or the set-up process would be most helpful. I also wanted to let you know that you can add the RSS feed of blogs that you trust into your lijit wijit as well. That will increase the size of your network and provide your readers with a bigger source of relevant search results.
Thanks again for the mention.
