I’ve talked in previous posts about VoIP available on mobile phones, about the power of SIP in this context and the interesting increase in the distribution of dual mode (GSM and WiFI) mobile phones.
Gizmo VoIP is offering a solution which involves all of the previous topics:

Now you can enjoy crystal-clear phone calls over the Internet using the new Nokia n80 Internet Edition phone and Gizmo VoIP. If you have access to a WiFi connection, you can save money by using the Internet to connect your call instead of using your mobile phone minutes.

Here is still relevant the discussion about fares, especially when WiFi VoIP is one of the collaboration tools available for enterprise workers. From the point of view of domestic users, in my opinion, costs are less relevant but the user experience (one single device which connects to home ADSL through a WiFi connection) can finally carry users to a single phone wherever they are.
